The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has sent the case of a Hays County Deputy Sheriff back for trial. DDOL lawyer Matt Bachop is counsel for a deputy sheriff who was demoted after he wrote a letter to the editor of the Hays County Record regarding the candidates for sheriff, the Hays County jail, and an upcoming election.
